According to recent and widely published research such as the Nielsen Global Survey on Corporate Social Responsibility THE MILITARY FRIENDLY ® BRANDS DESIGNATION, one of four components of the Military Friendly® Companies ratings, measures a company's social and material investment in support of the military and veteran community, including consumer supports and protections. COMMUNITY - An assessment of the organization's military, veteran community, and consumer relationships, stakeholder engagement initiatives and public policy positions. (CSR), consumers around the world are saying loud and clear that a brand's social purpose is among the factors that influ- ence purchasing decisions. CSR refers to an organization's self-implemented policies designed to ensure a company's active compliance with the spirit of the b r a n d 2019 Top-Rated Brands Military Friendly® Brands ratings capture best practices in the investments corporations make in the military and veteran communities.
